What the code allows

1. 01

   27 units an acre in R-3

   R-3 allows one unit per 1,600 square feet of lot. Height is 35 feet. A third story, garage included, needs a conditional use permit.

2. 02

   44 units an acre on the corridors

   Housing Corridor Overlay sites in Sub-Areas 2 and 3 take up to 44 units an acre, by right, at 50 or 75 feet. Lots need 100 feet of frontage.

3. 03

   One space per small unit

   In the overlay, studios and one-bedrooms park one car plus 0.2 visitor. The base code parks two per unit up to two bedrooms.
