What the code allows

   30 units an acre

   HDR allows 18 to 30 units per net acre at 40 feet. Ground floor commercial adds up to 20 percent more.

2. 02

   65 units an acre downtown

   Downtown Mixed Use allows 40 to 65 units per net acre at 65 feet, 85 with community benefits. Ground floor commercial over 0.2 FAR adds up to 40 percent more.

3. 03

   One space under 650 square feet

   Market rate units under 650 square feet park one car. Larger units park two. Size sets the count, not bedrooms.
